We integrate optional transportation into our listings.  Think about that: that means you do not have to buy or sell locally - buyers from anywhere in the country can compare prices with transportation included.  This means far more prospective buyers looking at your equipment!

I list on another site and I am an expert at selling within a few days locally.  Why would I sell on Ag Silo?

We know you have been selling ag equipment, maybe your whole life, and you know the prices that work for your county.  But how do you know if you are selling at the right price?  Because we integrate optional transportation, you could have farmers outside of your area looking for equipment at a different price than your county.

If I buy from Ag Silo, how do I know if the equipment is any good?

Ag Silo gives sellers the ability to include service record images so you can see up to date equipment information.  Additionally, the company is currently creating a mechanic inspection certification, a message board to ask questions directly to the seller, and the ability to speak to Customer Service Reps.  Additionally, because of our escrow process, you do not have to release funds as a buyer until you have satisfactorily received the equipment you have purchased.

How does money get exchanged in t he buy/sell process

We partner with escrow.com to ensure that money is not released until equipment has been satisfactorily received.  This ensures that the buyer and seller are financially safe through the transaction process.

What are your fees?

It is free to list!  When a tractor sells, we have a simple fee of 4% per transaction (no higher than $3499).  While other auction houses will charge 10-15% per sale, we believe in creating much lower fees to help farmers get better deals.  We know that you may be an expert at selling equipment, but we believe that by integrating transportation options, you may have a much larger market for your equipment thank you know, and can adjust the price accordingly.  And, instead of waiting on auctions, you can sell equipment any time.
